Terms and Conditions for Watt the Lux Online Lighting Course

1. About These Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions set out the terms of agreement between you (the Participant) and Alchemy Light Studio Pty Ltd, the provider of the Watt the Lux online lighting course. By enrolling in this course, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, including our Privacy Policy, which governs your use of our platform and participation in the program.

These Terms and Conditions cannot be varied without our written consent. We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time, and the current version will always be available on our website. It is your responsibility to review these Terms and Conditions periodically. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you must refrain from participating in the course.

2. Course Access and Structure

Access Duration: Participants receive access to course materials, including recorded content, for a period of 12 months from the enrolment date.

Live Sessions: The course includes live Zoom sessions. While we strive to allow participants to ask questions during these sessions, we cannot guarantee that all questions will be addressed due to time constraints.

Recordings: Live sessions will be recorded and made available within the course portal. By participating, you consent to being recorded.

3. Payment Plans and Refund Policy

Payment Terms: Payment must be completed prior to accessing the course. If a payment plan is selected, payments must be made according to the agreed schedule.

Non-Payment: Participants with outstanding payments will have their access to the course suspended after 14 days of non-payment. We reserve the right to remove access to all course features if payments are not rectified.

Refunds:

Refunds will not be issued for a change of mind.

A refund request must be made via email to [email protected] within 48 hours of enrolment.

Approved refunds will be subject to a $50 administrative fee.

4. Behaviour Policy

We are committed to maintaining a respectful, inclusive learning environment. Participants may be removed from live sessions, the course portal, or any related community groups for behaviour deemed inappropriate, including but not limited to:

Offensive or discriminatory language.

Harassment of instructors or other participants.

Sharing course materials outside the program.

5. Intellectual Property

All materials provided in the Watt the Lux course, including videos, PDFs, and other resources, are the intellectual property of Alchemy. Participants may not reproduce, share, or distribute any content without explicit written consent.

The content provided in this course is for educational purposes only and should not be construed as professional certification or engineering advice. The information shared is general in nature and not tailored to individual circumstances. Participants are encouraged to seek professional guidance when implementing any lighting design recommendations.
